HIRING: Digital Content Creator
Contract Term: 12 Months - Opportunity for Extension
Compensation: Starting at $300/month - $500/month
Location: Remote, Preference for Denver, Colorado
The NOYS Freedom to Move Content Creator(s) is a dynamic storyteller and advocate, using creative media to amplify youth voices and highlight the importance of transportation equity and mobility justice. Through their work, they drive engagement, shift traditional narratives, amplify youth-led advocacy, and build momentum for a movement where everyone has the freedom to move.
The Position:
The NOYS Freedom to Move Content Creator will be responsible for producing multimedia content—such as social media posts, video reels, graphics, blogs, and more—that drives compelling youth-centered stories/narratives highlighting a youth-powered call for a safe, sustainable and equitable transportation system. The Content Creator(s) will work closely together with the Digital Content Strategist to ensure all produced materials align with mission and movement goals.
The Content Creator must have a strong understanding of current transportation equity, environmental and mobility justice and traffic safety issues; demonstrating expertise in visual storytelling and familiar with current social media trends, particularly within progressive and activist spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
Produce original digital content aligning with the Freedom to Move Movement’s mission, values, and goals.
Ensure digital content centers youth voices, particularly those from BIPOC and marginalized communities.
Create and publish high-quality youth-driven content for the website, social media channels, email newsletters, and other digital platforms.
Monitor social media engagement and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner.
Collaborate with designers, videographers, writers, and youth advocates to produce engaging multimedia (videos, graphics, articles, etc.).
Stay abreast of newsworthy content related to local, state and federal transportation equity, environmental and mobility justice and traffic safety issues affecting young people.
Stay updated on the latest digital trends, emerging platforms, and creative techniques to ensure content is current and engaging.
Promote NOYS mission in all activities and advances NOYS’s strategic goals through their assigned work
Attend and participate in necessary staff meetings and trainings

HIRING: Digital Strategist

Compensation: Starting at $26/hr (10-15 hours per week)
Location: Remote, Preference for Denver, Colorado
The NOYS Freedom to Move Digital Strategist is a visionary architect behind impactful online campaigns, driving the movement for youth transportation equity. They develop and implement digital strategie, craft and refine content that amplify youth voices, increase engagement, and mobilize communities through targeted social media, email campaigns, and content optimization.
The Position:
The Digital Strategist will be responsible for strategizing NOYS’s digital and social media content under the collaborative guidance of the National Power Building Strategist and youth network. The Strategist will create all digital and social media content, and will play a key role in ensuring that messaging is consistent, impactful, and youth-centered, and will work closely with content creators to publish content.
The Digital Strategist must have a strong understanding of current transportation equity, environmental and mobility justice and traffic safety issues; demonstrating expertise in visual storytelling and familiar with current social media trends, particularly within progressive and activist spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive digital content strategy that aligns with the Freedom to Move Movement’s mission, values, and goals.
Create and manage a digital content calendar, coordinating content releases to support digital content strategy.
Ensure the digital strategy centers youth voices, particularly those from BIPOC and marginalized communities.
Oversee the creation, curation, and publication of high-quality youth-driven content for the website, social media channels, email newsletters, and other digital platforms.
Collaborate with designers, videographers, writers, and youth advocates to develop engaging multimedia content (videos, graphics, articles, etc.).
Stay abreast of newsworthy content related to local, state and federal transportation equity, environmental and mobility justice and traffic safety issues affecting young people.

Qualifications:
Strong proficiency in narrative change strategies and content development
General Experience in multimedia content creation (e.g., video production, graphic design, photography) and collaborating with creative teams.
Creative & Strategic Thinking: Ability to create engaging content and visually compelling designs that serve both functional web purposes and drive social media engagement.
Strong understanding of SEO principles, web traffic analytics, and best practices for optimizing content for digital engagement.
Ability to balance and adapt to multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
