NOYS is a collaboration of national, youth-serving organizations, including nonprofit organizations and government agencies, with the common goal of promoting safe and healthy behaviors among our nation’s youth. The coalition meets in a round table forum 2-3 times per year.
Members of the National Organizations for Youth Safety (NOYS) include nonprofits, business and industry, government agencies, and individuals who work on a national scale in the areas of Injury Prevention, including Traffic Safety, Substance Abuse Prevention, and Violence Prevention.
NOYS works as an umbrella organization, supporting, strengthening, and promoting our membership through professional development, partnerships, and recognition. As a coalition, we work together to implement a broad array of programs, develop educational activities and campaigns, share best practices and research findings, and advocate for youth safety causes. We would love to explore adding your organization to our to the NOYS coalition, and you would benefit in many ways.
The mission of NOYS is to build partnerships that will save lives, prevent injuries, and promote safe and healthy lifestyles among all youth while encouraging youth empowerment and leadership. NOYS is your best access to key leaders of national organizations and their local affiliates who address youth safety and health issues for ages 13-21. Federal funding and support has provided an opportunity for national organizations to hear directly about new federal programs, research, and other efforts; and to find out how these fit in with the national organizations’ member goals.
Are you interested in becoming a member of NOYS? As a member, you will become part of a strong coalition of national organizations, businesses, government agencies, and individuals that focus on youth safety and health. We are seeking committed members and partners to advance our mission and expand our collective voice on important youth safety issues.
