Youth diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder(ADHD) are 36% more likely than their non-ADHD peers to be involved in a motor vehicle crash, according to a new study published in JAMA Pediatrics.

Researchers encourage parents to ensure that these youth are ready for the challenges of driving before putting them behind the wheel.
