In a dramatic spike, the suicide rate among U.S. youth ages 10 to 14 doubled between 2007 and 2014, according to new data from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Suicide now surpasses traffic crashes as a leading cause of death for American middle-schoolers.
