Sleep impacts so many things - our mood, our energy levels, and even how well we perform in school or on the job. The American Academy of Sleep Medicine recommends that teens get a minimum of 7-9 hours of sleep every night.
Take a humorous approach to this topic. What happens when you're sleep deprived? Conduct an experiment: Take three days from your normal day-to-day schedule and keep notes about when you get tired, what you eat or drink or do to stay awake, and moments when you notice that being tired is impacting your activities. Then get the recommended amount of sleep for three days in a row and compare how you feel. What changed? Document your experiment on film or with pictures.
