Subject:Role Models
Kids would like to be just like their parents when they become adults, so they mimic what the parents do. Be a good role model.

Subject:Primary Seat Belt Laws
June 30: Arkansas joins Florida and Minnesota (July 9th) in making their seat belt laws a primary offense. Twenty-nine states have primary seat belt laws, and twenty have secondary laws. Only one state, New Hampshire, has no seat belt law in place for adults. The difference between a primary and secondary law is that a law enforcement officer cannot stop you solely because of a violation of a secondary law. Until June 30, Arkansas law enforcement officers could not stop a person strictly because the person was not wearing a seat belt. The officer might stop someone for speeding and then issue a citation for not wearing a seat belt, but beginning June 30, the seat belt law became a primary offense. Congratulations to Arkansas!

Subject:Awesome website for parents
I will recommend this website to all the parents in Gibson City, Illinois. Parents just don't seem to realize that kids model their driving behavior from an early age and they have to be setting a good example for them everytime they get behind the wheel. I would not want to be a parent that has to live with their child being killed in a crash by using the cell phone, drowsy driving, alcohol, or any distracted driving and the parents always modeled those poor drivng decisions. The parents, teachers, safety organizations, and teens have to all work together to keep our roadways safe. Please do your part and make a difference and help save lives. Thanks again for the new website.

Subject:Great Site
Glad to see you included the article from Wichita! KS is making strides, slow but sure. Starting to see more emphasis on the parents playing a role all across the country -- this site will be great in accelerating the movement.
