National Youth Traffic Safety Month
Every May youth from across the country engage in peer to peer education efforts to address the #1 cause of death for youth in the U.S. - traffic crashes. According to NHTSA data eight out of the ten deadliest days for youth on our nations highways are between May and August with May 20th averaging as the deadliest day. Youth work to make NOYS and create change in their communities to save lives and prevent injuries.
